  • First, with the help of the safety gear, install the cement board.
  • Lay down some latex-modified thin set mortar on the subfloor.
  • Push downwards the cement board on the subfloor & attach the cement board with the screws.
  • Continue the same procedure & overwhelming the end joints so that they don’t line up.
  • Incise the cement board with the Jigsaw tool.
  • Then, finish-up by mudding & tapping the joints of the cement board.
  • Clean up the existing floor with a Non-toxic floor cleaner & decide from where you want to start your tile alignment.
  • Then, with the help of the chalk, draw a line in the centre of the room width wise & length wise & line-up your boxes of tiles & open it.
  • Lay down your tile cement where your first section of tile will be & start laying the floor tiles in the middle of the room.
  • Put a grout spacer at each of the corner of your tile & continue laying all the tiles on the outer edge too.
  • Let the tile to dry during the night & if needed, take out the grout spacers.
  • Then, combine your grout according to the direction with water.
  • With the help of masonry float you have to widen the grout into the spaces of the tiles for creating a soft surface & with the help of the sponge, remove the excess grout over the tiles.
  • At last, close the grout after it has set for 72 hours.
